Honestly, I didn’t think lemonade could get any better. I don’t think I’ll ever make it without rosewater ever again.
Ingredients:
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
6 cups of water
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon rosewater
Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine 2/3 sugar and 2 cups of water over medium heat. Once all of the sugar has melted add 1 teaspoon of rosewater and remove from heat. You may add more rosewater, but for me, just a simple teaspoon will give just enough flavor. Allow the simple syrup to cool all the way.
Step 2: Combine 1 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice (I used regular lemons and pink lemons) with the simple syrup mixture.
Step 3: Add the remaining 4 cups of water, ice, and lemon slices.
Sahtain!
